As this video of my Netroots Nation 2013 plenary session shows, there are things we can do to ensure our messages work:
- Engage the base
- Persuade the middle
- Alienate the opposition
This requires we cease to concern ourselves about “where people are” and focus on where they’re capable of going. And then craft messages that help lead them to that destination. Take a look and comment with your own examples of successful messaging.
